The introduction of the IRCTC eCatering app “food on track” has made ordering food online possible on a train. Here’s how you can order food through this application in a few simple steps:

·   Download food on track application, it is available for both android and iOS mobile users.

·       Enter your PNR number


·       Select the station where you want your meal delivered from a list of available stations. It can be any of the station right from origin to destination, if it is available


·       A list of the available vendors with their menu and rates will be displayed.


·       Select your meal.


·       Drop your details, like coach number, seat number


·       Select your preferred payment option, ‘Pay on Delivery’ option is also available


·       Enjoy your meal at your seat.  

You can also order the food through the official website www.ecatering.irctc.co.in/ by following the same process or even get the food delivered by just calling on 1323. You can also get a good discount on the railway station food delivery by using food on train offer or by discount coupons given by restaurants.
